Hello! I donated to all three charities, but I could not let me forward the receipts to [email protected]. Gmail told me “Address not found. Your message was not delivered.” How should I forward my receipts?

Comment by granny on June 16, 2020 at 1:01 amHi! Should I wait for any confirmation of my entry via e-mail reply? Or is it just as is?
Comment by Vlad on June 17, 2020 at 1:44 pmWith all due respect…. As an invisible Black female guitarist who has been consistently overlooked by your publication to contribute articles and videos, it’s a bit condescending to see “action” in the form of corralling your readership to give money to organizations without the effort of actually doing the work to learn why this is a big problem in the first place. Secondly… I can’t help but notice one of the pedals up for grabs is characterized as “Demon” with BLM Handpainted on it: #15 Fuzzrocious Pedals: Demon (BLM Handpainted) which further emphasizes how tone-deaf this initiative is despite how well meaning it is intended. She Shreds… I love what you folkx intend to do with all of this, but maybe I should exit my committal to your plight. After all, I’ll still be invisible.
Comment by Taylor on June 19, 2020 at 2:41 pmHey Taylor,
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. Sorry we didn’t respond sooner, we are still figuring out the ins and outs of our new site 🙂 That said, as much detail as we attempt to put into our work we know that we aren’t always going to do things 100% as we intend them and are always moving forward with the interest of growing and evolving. Really appreciate your respectful feedback and we will 100% be taking it into account and action. No pressure but if you don’t mind we would love to send you something for your labor spent articulating this to us. We will send you an email! Ours is [email protected] in case you’d like to reach out to us for any reason <3
Love and Respect to you! - She Shreds Team
Comment by She Shreds on June 25, 2020 at 4:25 pmI forwarded my receipts about a week ago to the email address provided and haven’t gotten any confirmation, despite asking for one. I know everyone is busy during these crazy times.. the contest ends tomorrow, I was just hoping to get some kind of assurance that my entries are in.
Comment by Alex on June 22, 2020 at 12:16 pmThanks for doing this, everyone. Hope you’re all well.

Comment by Jim on June 22, 2020 at 9:46 pmCan you please elaborate on what you find tone deaf about the name of the fuzzrocious demon with the fuzzrocious demon with BLM colorway? Based on the rest of your comment I think we probably have more in common politically than not but this seems like a strange and unnecessary thing to take offense to. Can you (or anyone here) tell me if Im missing something? As far as I know the people at fuzzrocious are good folks. They’ve been kind to me in the past, have great customer service and make awesome pedals.
Yes I think we are politically all on the same page here. But isn’t it quite obvious how tone deaf the naming of this pedal is? Black people have been DEMONIZED forever in this country and this “pro” black pedal is called DEMON. How did they think this wouldn’t be offensive?
Comment by Nyle on June 23, 2020 at 9:00 amAlso chiming in on the lack of follow up, sent my receipts in a while ago and didn’t ever receive a confirmation that they’d been accepted. Not the biggest thing in the world – but would like to know that I didn’t miss the raffle. Thanks!
Comment by Mike on June 23, 2020 at 9:18 amThis is so awesome. Thank you all for putting it together!!

Comment by Jim on June 23, 2020 at 10:54 pmI’m pretty sure the naming of this pedal happened before and independently of this raffle or any context that would link the term ‘demon’ to black folks. They donated a popular product to a charity raffle. You’re saying the word demon is off limits for a company that makes guitar pedals for metal musicians. Come on yall thats a huge stretch. This is what you’re focussing on while we have actual racist police murdering us with impunity and a white supremacist president who unironically advises people to inject lysol.
Jim. I am white. I am assuming you are white as well. Listen to black people. This is not my one piece of activism I am focusing on. I was simply trying to help you understand how a black female artist such as Taylor could be confused and upset by the name of this pedal paired with the BLM paint job. Yes there are way bigger problems but doesn’t this also speak to a larger issue? White people need to listen to black people and not tell them when their feelings make sense or not.
Comment by Nyle on June 24, 2020 at 7:55 amDid the give away happen?
I for one think just slapping BLM on any old existing product is a bit reckless/opportunistic (even a pedal that isn’t named after something evil). Cool if you wanna have proceeds go to good organizations, but be respectful/intelligent with it.
How do we find your music, Taylor?
