It’s 2018 and the world is trash but BOYTOY continues to bless us with rock ‘n’ roll that satiates our eternally summer needs. In 2016, we premiered the video for “Your Girl,” off of the bands debut LP Grackle and today we release a sort of (non) music video—something that feels more like an experiment gone right.

“NY Rip Off” is off of the bands recently released sophomore LP,  Night Life (PaperCup Music/Stolen Body Records/Burger Records, 2018) and features Saara Untracht-Oakner (vocals, guitar), Glenn Michael Van Dyke (vocals, guitar), and Chase Noelle (drums) doing a bunch of weird shit in front of black and white hand painted canvases portraying different NY settings. However, while that is totally cool in and of itself, the audio is what will get you questioning your entire creative existence. What you’re listening to is something along the lines of a remixed version of “NY Rip Off” for art punks and you know what? We don’t hate it. Watch for yourself below and if you want to listen to what the song actually sounds like, check out the soundcloud link as well.

One last thing, you might be confused at first but if you push through it you are sure to have an exciting experience.
