This winter NAMM at the Anaheim Convention Center, She Shreds sat down with Nancy Wilson of Heart and invited some of our favorite artists to talk about gear.

The 2019 Winter NAMM show in Anaheim, CA is always a crazy, hectic, loud, and extremely fun time. We like to call it the heaven for gear lovers and nerds all over the world. On the other hand, it’s also a time to take pictures with your favorite Instagram music celebrities and just explore a different side of the music industry. This year marks our sixth year in attendance where we had the chance to host a Gibson panel with Nancy Wilson of Heart, talk to some of our favorite guitarists about gear, and get a first look at some of the 2019 product unveilings. She Shreds founder Fabi Reyna discussed the subject of seeking, maintaining, and exploring tone with Emily Wolfe, Nancy Wilson, CAM, Michelle Arseneau (Guitar Goddess), and Emily Ruvidich. Often times tone is seen as a hyper technical subject which can either prevent or inspire you. In this panel we discussed both relationships and how ones relationship with tone can be the key factor in your confidence and comfort level with your guitar.
