We all know and love St. Vincent’s 2014 critically-acclaimed self-titled fourth album, and there’s no denying we’ve had to find other ways satiate ourselves while waiting for its follow up. Thankfully, Annie Clark has had no shortage of achievements to get excited about in that time!

In 2016, the release of the St. Vincent signature guitar, designed by Annie Clark alongside top engineers and released by Ernie Ball, brought another heat wave from the fiery movement of the iconic artist to loom over music fans and gear lovers alike. This year, Clark has revealed her directorial debut, a new line of STV guitar colors and now (finally!) the announcement of a new album MASSEDUCTION, to be released on October 13 through Loma Vista Recordings.

According to her press release, the album was recorded at Electric Lady Studios in Manhattan and co-produced by herself and Jack Antonoff (Bleachers, Fun). “Every record I make has an archetype,” says Clark. “‘Strange Mercy’ was Housewives on Pills. ‘St. Vincent’ was Near-Future Cult Leader. MASSEDUCTION is different, it’s pretty first person. You can’t fact-check it, but if you want to know about my life, listen to this record.”

Special guests on the album include Thomas Bartlett on piano, Kamasi Washington on saxophone, Jenny Lewis on vocals, and beat production from Sounwave. You can check out the first single from the album, “Los Ageless,” which was released today along with the video for “New York.”

We would also like to revert your attention to these very important PSAs:

Topping it all off, Clark also announced a fall tour (full dates below!). Everyone who purchases a ticket to shows (with the exceptions of Detroit, Indianapolis and Boston) will also receive a FREE digital download of MASSEDUCTION on October 13th, so don’t give it a second thought—get your tickets now!
